If you often buy packaged spring rolls in the supermarket, try this simple recipe for spring rolls. Provides instructions on how to cut packages into equal squares and how to use a 6-inch round shape (egg shape used in the hospitality industry).
Wrapping frozen egg rolls, whether in the store or at home, makes the job easier and helps prevent them from spoiling during cooking. Once frozen, it only takes a few minutes to cook.
Easy egg roll recipe for wrapping
Ingredients you will need:
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, mix
Glass of cold water
Corn starch
Add flour and salt. Make a hole in the middle and put egg and water in it. Gently mix the ingredients into the paste with your fingers. If the dough feels too dry, add cold water (one table at a time). The dough should be smooth and soft.
Cover with plastic wrap. Set aside and let the flour rest for 30 minutes.
Distribute the dough. When working with the first half, cover it halfway. Roll the dough on a flat surface. This should make a very thin 36 "by 12" sheet. Cut into 6 inch squares. Stack the squares on a plate sprinkled with blueberries. Sprinkle over each can of blueberries so they don't stick together. You can also use parchment paper between the boxes.
Follow the same instructions for the other half of the dough. You can either freeze it for later use or use it as it is.
Tip for wrapping spring rolls in a pan
Ingredients you will need:
1 beaten egg
'A glass of ice water
Salt tea
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons peanut oil
Stir in eggs, ice water and salt. Add flour at the same time. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Heat a frying pan over high heat. Remove from heat and cover the side of the table with peanut oil. Reduce heat to medium. When the pan is hot, put half of the egg mixture in the skeleton and make a circle of 50 cm.
Quickly flip the shape and spread the dough around it. Turn the pan on the heat and cook for 30 seconds or until the bottom of the spring roll package is golden and the sides are joined. Remove the wrapping from the spring rolls and place it on a paper towel at the bottom.
Repeat each time with the remaining flour. Add more peanut oil as needed to prevent spring roll packages from sticking together.
