I have a rinnai energy saver 1001ft heater that keeps cutting out, filters are clean. It’s like the electricity works for a minute but the gas is not coming through then turns of. After about 20 attempts it will start working and then seems to run ok most of the time.

Why is my Rinnai 1004fdt not cutting out at night?

Error code 11 indicated Ignition failure, it is a safety shutdown for the unit if the heater does not ignite within a certain time frame. If the heater fails to reignite a service call may be required. Why does the Rinnai 1004FTR not cut out at all at night, yet does during the day when on economy set at 21.
