2 weeks ago there were 2 power outages in our area and since then the alarm is on high alert (green light flashes), I have entered the code several times and found the battery 100 faulty, did my alarm go off despite failing Gets?

Use battery failure alarm.

Battery malfunction means alarm cannot detect battery. Change.

Try unplugging the battery for 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
