Are Starburst Halal

Is sweet star burst halal or haraam? 3

I live in Caa and was wondering if Starburst is halal or haraam?

My friend said it is forbidden, but I want to believe. Besides, he didn't even know why!

Starburst lists gelatin as an ingredient. Things covered in jelly are considered mushrooms because the origin of the jelly is not known and it may be from animals (such as pork). I think most boxes use animal jelly. It is better to avoid sugary foods.

It is haraam.
